About the Basic Belly Cast Kit Contents: Bandages: Mother Belly’s Basic Pregnancy Belly Cast Kit provides 4 rolls of 4” by 5 yard medical grade plaster casting bandages. Medical grade plaster casting bandages are chosen by doctors and hospitals across the country to cast broken limbs. If a pregnant woman were to break an arm or leg during pregnancy, plaster casting bandages might be worn for weeks or months at a time. During pregnancy belly casting, the fast set bandages we use are on mom’s pregnant tummy for about 30 minutes. The fast set plaster casting bandages are non-toxic and meet ASTM-D4236 safety standards. If you have concerns about belly casting, consult your physician.
Instructions: A Mother Belly Basic Pregnancy Belly Cast Kit includes the same step-by-step, easy to follow instructions as our Complete belly casting kit. PLEASE NOTE: The Basic Belly Cast Kit DOES NOT include a release agent, like Vaseline. You MUST use a release agent on your skin so that the casting bandages will slide off easily. DO NOT attempt to do a belly cast on ungreased skin! We recommend using Vaseline, as provided in our Complete and Ultimate kits. |
