The 2 oz. size acrylic finish paints are offered in both Metallic and Matte finishes.
This size is recommended for all Belly Cast Kits. One 2 oz. color will cover two coats on the FRONT of an average plaster belly cast (belly and breasts). If you have a large frame or are casting additional areas (shoulders, arms, hands, tops of thighs, etc.) we would suggest 4 oz. to cover your painted belly mask. We also recommend sealing the inside of a belly cast with paint too, and suggest a total of 4 oz. for the entire cast (2 oz. for the front, 2 oz. for the inside).
• Each color comes with its own 1” paint brush.
The 2 oz. size is also recommended for larger plaster hand casting projects, such as the 16x20 Shadow Box Kit, the Group Project Kit, or for quantities of Bulk Molding Powder & Casting Stone. In these cases, we recommend using the metallics (pearl, gold, bronze or champagne-taupe) for your finish, or the clear glaze which can be purchased on the 1/2 oz. Finish Paints page.
