Preserve precious baby hands & baby feet while they're tiny!
Now you can mold a three dimensional plaster statue of a baby hand and footprint complete with little dimples, creases, folds and nails. As you can imagine, this makes a much more impressive baby keepsake and unique baby gift than other casting kits which show only a basic impression of the shape and size of baby foot prints or hand prints.
Quick set molding powder is safe even for a newborn, and is easy to use and non-toxic. Your infant's hand or foot is needed for only 2-3 minutes and a bit of wiggling is no problem when creating the mold!This baby hand casting and footprint kit is for babies to about 10-12 months (max. foot length under five inches).
This baby keepsake kit makes either:
- 2 baby hands or
- 1 infant hand & 1 infant foot
If you want to cast more than one 3D baby hand and one foot, or mold a different combination (two feet, for example), you will need a refill kit for each additional hand or foot casting. So, to cast all four baby hands & feet you would need two refills.
Each Baby Hand & Footprint Kit comes with a clear glaze finish to make hand and foot castings look like glossy ceramic or porcelain. Optional finishes include: metallic pearl, gold, champagne, or bronze (see footprint comparison photo at right). A Metallic Antiquing Kit can be added if you'd like to "age" the look of a bronze, gold or champagne finish.
Baby Hand & Footprint Casting Kits can be purchased as a Basic Kit (with no display base), or as a Deluxe Kit (which includes a 5x7" oval wood base with routed edges as shown in the photo). NOTE: The baby hand and foot print molding kit makes either two hands or 1 hand and 1 foot. If you want to cast more than two statues, or a different combination, you will need a refill kit.
* Glass domes ship separately directly from the manufacturer and take up to two weeks to arrive. Since they are special ordered, glass domes are not returnable and cannot be gift wrapped.
