How Many Casts Will This Shadow Box Kit Make?
The 16x20 keepsake shadow box casting kit makes:
- 6 - 7 baby or child handprint or footprint casts or pet paw prints, or
- 4 - 5 teen to adult hand print casting molds
- or various combinations of the above
For example, the bronze family handprint shadow box above displays a palm hand casting for 6: mom, dad, plus children ages 13, 11, 8 and 5. In fact, the 16x20 kit comes with additional molding containers and instructions for ornament making in case you have molding material and casting stone left over after casting your handprints!
Our 16x20 shadowbox kit is an adventure in shadow box art and the creation of family keepsakes you'll treasure as heirlooms! The kit comes with two finish colors. The first is a clear glaze which can either be used to create a "porcelain look" for your hand prints or used as a clear coat on top of your choice of metallic finish. You choose the second finish color: metallic bronze (shown above), or pearl, gold, or champagne finishes. When choosing the gold, champagne or bronze metallic finishes, we even include a Metallic Antiquing Kit so you can obtain an "aged" look for your hands or footprints, if desired!
The 16x20 kit is available in the BLACK SHADOW BOX FRAME only, with your choice of 7 background colors.

- 16 x 20 x 1.25 inch vertical or horizontal wall mount shadow box with a BLACK frame

Due to the large frame size, this 3D family keepsake shadow box also allows you MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY when placing your casts and mementos! The castings look wonderful with or without the ivory matboard. Useable mounting space with the ivory mat is 11x14, without is 15x19 inches. The shadow box depth is 1.25 inches.
